About:Beijing Weather in December

We have joined a package tour for Beijing this coming Dec 7-10, 2018.

We will visit great wall, forbidden city, zoo, etc. with my 74 year old mom. What should be the best clothing and shoes to wear on those days. Does it snow on those days? We are from a tropical country wherein we only have 2 seasons. Please advise.

It’s cold and you need to take sweaters, down coat and gloves. Masks are also necessary. In spite of the cold climate, it’s still hard to snow during the period.

It is difficult to say that. It may snow early in Beijing in November. In the recent years, it snows less and sometimes it snows in next February or March. You are advised to check the weather forecast before going there. It would be very cold in snowy days and down jacket is necessary.
