About:Guangzhou - Shenzhen - Hong Kong High Speed Train

Hello,
My girlfriend (a HK citizen) and I (an American) want to take the new high speed train to Guangzhou at the end of this year. Will I be able to get the three day Guangzhou visa using the high speed train, or is this still for only a plane landing at the airport.
The same question for the 5 day Shenzen, can I get it at the train station as an American, or is it only possible for me to get the visa ($150) before visiting?
