Hi. Dual citizen

I have US passport living in the Philippines. Im using my US passport to apply for China entry permit and use my Certificate of Philippine Citizenship as proof of my legal residence here. The reason Im using my US passport is because my Philippine passport has already expired and I will be travelling soon to China if given a visa.

Will I be facing any hardship? Thanks.

Hi, if you have valid visa to China, and it is issued on your US passport, you will be fine for entering China with the US passport, I suppose.

If you have valid residence permit in the Philippines, it's possible for you to use your USA passport to apply for the visa from the China embassy.
