About:China Visa Application in UK

Single or dual entry ?

Hi -- I fly into Beijing then take a 8 day tour to Xi'an and Shanghai -- from there pickup a cruise ship to Japan. This then returns to Shanghai and i need to get from the port to the airport for flight home. On the visa form there is no where for this second entry to be completed. Do i need a single or dual entry form ?

So your itinerary is like: UK - Beijing Xian Shanghai 8 days tour - Cruise to Japan - Shanghai - Flight to UK? I'm pretty sure that you do not need a visa, using the 240h visa free transit the first time and the second time 24-hour visa-free transit if the transit time is less than 24 hours. You can check your eligibility on this page: https://www.travelchinaguide.com/tour/visa/free-transit-144-hours.htm
