I am student, Indian Passport holder. I want to go china for one competition. I got invitation letter also, so what documents, procedure I have to do? and is it ok if I do all the procedure with the help of others like visa assistance . or agent?

You can ask an agency to help you apply for the F type, or you can apply in person. First, prepare the relevant documents including your passport and copy of its data page, a fully filled-out application form affixed with a passport-style photo, and an invitation letter from China. Next, submit the application to the CVASC.
