About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit in Beijing from Jarkarta to Toronto

i will be leaving from Jakarta to Toronto with a transit in Beijing. Due to the long layover, I planned to leave the airport in Beijin and rest one night at a hotel before continuing back to Canada. Would I require a transit visa?

Nope Canadian passport is eligible for the transit without visa as long as Beijing is the only Chinese city your plane lands in
