S 2 Visa 180 days mean ?

I am applying for S2 multiple entry, Please clarify
180 days mean adding the actual number of days stayed each time or from the date of first entry the last exit should be less than 180 days?

If you have the multiple entries S2 type, ans it says 180 between DURATION OF EACH STAY and DAYS AFTER ENTRY, it means you can enter China for many times and you can stay in there for up to 180 days after each entry.
