About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I'm flying from Argentina to Shangai for a mtg Sep 28th to 30th. Is it ok to apply for the 72h twov?

My understanding is that all the entire procedure is made at the airport, uppon arrival, by filling in the card. The ticket would be round trip (from/to Buenos Aires). Any issue?

You need a visa in advance or different flights. That’s a visit to China and not a transit.

If you would travel like Argentina-Shanghai-another country or region instead of Argentina, you can apply for the free transit then.
