About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Im flying to HK, want to go to Shanghai for a mtg. Can i fly HK to Shanghai and back HK within 72hrs

so business in HK then fly to Shanghai for mtg and back to HK - can this be done using the 72 hour visa free transit option ???

No you can´t.
It works as Country A - China - Country B.
