Hi, is it possible to pay tickets with VISA card or cash only?

It’s hard to say whether you can use the VISA. You’d better prepare some cash.

However, in some souvenir shops, they don't accept the visa card, so preparing some cash is necessary.

You could use Visa card but suggest to prepare some cash, some shops just accept cash or UnionPay(银联) card. BTW, here is often accept use Ali-pay, Wechat pay, a little shops accept APPLE-pay.
