About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

Am i eligible for this visa? I'm intending to stay in GZ for around 5 days.

Hi,
I am travelling from Sydney to Seoul to Taiwan to Hong Kong, catch bullet train/bus to Guangzhou and fly back to sydney from GZ.
Please let me know

No, you are not. Actually, the 144h visa free hasn't be carried out in the city, and you can only use 72- hour free-visa transit policy at present.

You need a visa to take the train or bus from Hong Kong to Guangzhou anyway.

I didnt know that, thanks for letting me know..so i actually need a visa if i travel via train? Is there a 72 hour visa free offered at the station?

No, it is only offered in Baiyun Airport in GZ, so you are suggested to apply for a visa in advance.

If you fly from Hong Kong to Guangzhou, then HKG-CAN-SYD would qualify for transit without visa.
