Hi, I am an Indian Passport holder and currently living in Canada on Permanent Residence Visa. I am flying from Canada to Shanghai to India...there is a 21 hour layoff at Shanghai...do I qualify for 24 hr -TWOV? If yes, does it mean that I can visit some sites outside Shanghai airport? If no and I have to depend on a immigration officer to grant me permission to visit places outside airport, Can I apply for any other visa which gives me an assured visiting permission outside airport?
