About:144-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

Do you need a hotel booking proof or invitation letter to get the 144h transit permit?

No, you don't need to prepare that and you just need to prepare your passport, visa (if applicable) and onward ticket to the third country or region.
