About:Overstaying in China & Penalty

im student in beijing i have overstayed x1 visa

I have overstayed almost 3 months. Am I going to deported or pay the fine? and how fine I should pay for 3 months. Answer me please

Hey I had this happen to me once too. You need to report exit entry bureau and police station in your district where it is up to them to decide your punishment. Explain you didnt understand the law, and your school did not alert you to get your residence permit. I had to pay 10000 yuan, my visa was cancelled, and I went home. Luckily I was not blacklisted. i mean my resident permit expired 3 months ago does it deserve more penalty? ty for ur answer ^^

The penalty is capped at CNY 10,000 regardless of how long you overstayed.
