About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Do I need to book hotels before applying for a visa?

I want to apply for a visa but I haven't booked my accommodation.

If you don't have invitation letter from China, you should provide transportation and accommodation arrangement for the application. So you need to book accommodation beforehand.
