About:Overstaying in China & Penalty

Overstayed and paid fine

I overstayed in china for three days because i lost my passport on the same day i was supposed leave china, and i was told to pay a fine of 5000rmb. I paid the fine and exited China. I want to apply for a student visa now, would i be denied?

It's possible for you to apply for the student X type. Your several days overstay record may not affect that. Just give it a try.
