How far from Haikou to the great wall & is there tours

or do I have to find my own way of exploring more of China??

Well, most of the famous great walls in Beijing and the distance between Haikou and Beijing over 2,600km. I don’t think you can find a tour covering the two cities easily. Here is my suggestion:
Explore Haikou and then fly to Beijing to join another tour to enjoy the attractions including great wall. BTW, Badaling Great Wall is the most famous.
