x2 visa application in nearby countries

Question

Hello, I currently have x2 in China and the school informed me that to extend my X2 I need to exit China. Can I apply for x2 with my admission notice and jw document in nearby countries (mongolia, korea, japan etc.)? - (Im a Turkish citizen)

Hi, you can try to extend your X2 type at the at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. Or you can try to apply for that from the office of the commissioner of the ministry of foreign affairs of PRC in HK SAR or from nearby countries if it cannot be done within China.
