About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Hi, Can I fly into Shanghai, stay 3 days, cruise to Korea then Beijing (from Tianjin)

We then cruise back to South Korea and Japan then fly home from Toykyo

Peter, if your travel route would be UK-Shanghai-South Korea-Tianjin and Beijing-South Korea-Japan-UK, you can apply for 144h twov in Shanghai. You won't qualify for the free transit policy for the layover in Tianjin and Beijing. You need a visa for that.
