Hi, Apply for tourist visa in China

my sister is coming back from UK on 7/10 /2018 to join a tour trip to China on 14 /10 /2018. Can she apply for visa within a week on time? Did China embassy closed during that period because of China National Day holidays celebration?

She can apply one month prior to the trip from the CVASC in your country. The visa office will be closed during the China National Day holidays from 1st to 7th October.
