About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hrs visa exemtion for UK citizen

Hi my itinerary is by Air UK> Peking>Tokyo and then cruise ship from Japan>Shanghai
3 days stop in Shanghai and then
By Air Shanghai>Peking> UK
Is exemption allowed in this case?

You need a visa for your second entry to China. Shanghai to Beijing is not allowed under 144hours transit without visa.
