About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Cruise. I'm arriving via a cruise ship in Tianjin Port

busing to Beijing, staying in Beijing for 48 hours and then flying to Hong Kong. I'm a US citizen. Am I eligible for the 72 hour free transit? If so, how do I obtain?

You are eligible for the 72 hour free transit in Beijing and Tianjin. You need to inform the cruise company in advance that you want to use the free transit, and show the tickets and passport at the immigration counter upon arrival.
