About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Onward flight is on a separate booking - need to collect luggage and re-check in for second flight

I am have both UK and Australian passports and will be flying from London Heathrow to Shanghai Pudong, and am then booked on a separate ticket with another airline from Shanghai to Adelaide (the onward flight is later the same day).

I'll need to collect my luggage in Shanghai and check-in to the second flight with Singapore Airlines. Will I need a visa to collect my luggage and change terminals etc. to make it to my next flight?

You are eligible for free transit in Shanghai. No visa is needed for that trip.
