Visit to China for work then ex pat assignment

Hello, planning on visiting China early November with work then hopefully if all is well taking up a two year ex-pat assignment from January 19.
What visa should I apply for?

If so, maybe you can apply for multiple entries business M type for mainland China. Or you can contact the CVASC to inquire if you can get work Z type for that.
