About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

2 way 144 hrs visa -free?

My trip is fly from Singapore----shanghai----cruise ship to a few city of Japan then cruise back-----shanghai----fly to Singapore.
I am hold Australia passport. is this ok for 144hrs free in both way at shanghai? Thanks!
