About:China Visa

Is a visa needed for cruise ship passengers to visit Beijing and then transit by air from Shanghai?

Traveling on Coral Princess to berth in Tianjin for one day 14 Oct 2018. Is a visa required for a one-day Princess Cruises sponsored excursion to Beijing?
Disembarking from Coral Princess in Shanghai 18 Oct 2018 for Princess Cruises sponsored transit to airport for flight to USA. Is an entry permit required?

If you are going to Shanghai after the layover in Tianjin and Beijing, you need to apply for a visa for that trip beforehand.
