About:Shanghai Maglev Train

Would like to see the Maglev train at the Longyang Road, without actually purchasing a ticket.

Is this possible, or does one need a ticket in order to get onto the platform?

I only took the maglev train once, but I had to have a ticket to go to the platform. It is 50 RMB single way.

I forgot to add if you have a airline ticket or receipt, show it to them and your ticket price will be 40 RMB.
