About:Shanghai Maglev Train Ticket

Will Longyang Rd station too crowded to board with luggage to Hongqiao Railway Station?

My trip is Dec 2024. My plane will land at 245pm at Pudong. Am deciding to take metro 2 directly from Pudong Airport to Hongqiao Railway Station or via Maglev. However, am worry the train will be too crowded to board at Longyang Rd station with luggage.

On weekdays, 2:45pm is not the peak time, so it won't be too crowded. On weekends, it'll be a little crowed for you. To avoid the crowd, you can directly take metro line 2 at the airport, give up the maglev, and get to Hongqiao Railway Station without a transfer, but this way takes longer time, 1h40min.
