About:Beijing Capital International Airport

I am flying from Australia to Beijing Capital Airport via Haikou all on the same day.

On arrival in Beijing at terminal 1, will I be able to purchase duty free items?

Yes, if you have enough time you can take a shuttle bus to buy some in T3. As I know, there is no duty free shop in T1.
