Is there any other way of booking the tickets other than the official website (unfortunately I do not know anyone who speaks Chinese). Will we be able to get tickets on the day or are these likely to be sold out? We would like to avoid a tour as these seem extremely expensive for 2 personsMany thanks

You can buy tickets on the entrance of the museum.

Generally speaking, the entrance tickets are enough for tourists as long as you avoid visiting on weekends and holidays. August is in the summer vocation in China. I cannot ensure that you can get tickets.
