About:Chinese Paper-cut Museum

Transit in Changsha and Guangzhou

Dear Sir or Madam,

My friends and I have booked the flights and our flights are from Frankfurt/Germany to Vientiane/Laos in October 2018 but we have to connect the flight in Changsha to Guangzhou before heading to Laos and the way back as well. So, we are not so sure whether we need a transit visa or not.
Our holding passports are:
- Indonesia
- Laos
- India
- Cameroon
- Nigeria
Could you please clarify our concern as soon as possible?

If your total layover time in mainland China is within 24 hours, you are able to use 24h twov. No visa will be needed. But the Nigeria citizen needs to apply for transit G type for that.

Thanks for your reply! Do we have to apply for transit G type before travelling or directly at the airport?

The Nigeria citizen needs to apply for transit G before the trip.
