Do I need (Indian citizen) a transit Visa?

Hi. I am an Indian citizen with temporary residency in Mexico. I will be travelling to New Delhi, India via Guangzhou. The route is Mexico city => Vancouver => Guangzhou => New Delhi. The inbound route is just the reverse of outbound.
The layover in Guangzhou is 3 hours. Do I need to apply for a Visa?
