About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Does a visa "reset" after leaving and then re-entering China?

I have a 60 day L with multiple entries. I was told that if I leave China and then re-enter the visa automatically resets to 60 days. Is this true? If so, how is this indicated in my passport?

That's true, however there won't be any indication on the passport. Entry and exit stamps only record your entry and exit dates.
