About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is visa-free transit valid for 22hrs transit in Shangai (PuDong) when flying from USA to India?

I have Indian Passport and wish to know if I am eligible for free transit during my 22hrs of layover in Shanghai on my way to New Delhi, India from San Francisco, USA.

Yes, if you have hotel booking you should be able to leave the airport. Anything over 24 hours in China would requires a visa.
