About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Travel overland and ferry

Sorry my previous q/a disappeared again. Is it possible to use 24 h twov if i arrive in Qingdao port by ferry and leave by train from Beijing to Mongolia within 24 h? Does the 24 h count from arrive to border crossing mongolia or until train departure in beijing?
Kind regards,
Wendy

In your case, I think the 24 hours time is calculated from scheduled arrival time to scheduled departure time. If your total layover time in mainland China is within 24 hours, you could use the 24h twov.

The train is a domestic train so I believe you will end up needing a visa. Exit from China would be handled at the Mongolia border which is around 18 hours after the train leaves china. I don't think it would be possible to do it under 24 hours
