About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

Layover 7hrs in Guangzhou airport

Hi - I will be travelling with a small child and we have a layover in Guangzhou airport of 7hrs. I am trying to find the best hotel to sleep at during this time, without hassle or shuttles if possible. Reviews say that the Pullman Baiyun Airport hotel is closest but that if you're in Terminal 2 then still need a shuttle.
Which terminal does CZ 307 China Southern airline use?
I just read above that we will still need to go through Inspections and Quarantine so maybe there will not be enough time to go a sleep anyway?

Hi, we are here with an 8 hour stopover right now. I was going to take my daughter for a swim at the Pullman Hotel to kill some time, but the airport staff didn't allow us to go out. They said that 8 hours isn't enough time (!) as we are in terminal 2 and the hotel is in terminal 1. So be careful with booking the hotel if you haven't got more than 8 hours stopover and are in terminal 2. They may not let you out. On the positive side the new terminal is so much nicer than the old one. There is a small kids playground too.
