Do I need visa if we stay 3 days in Beijing Hotel before getting on cruise ship in Tianjin.

We are going to an Asia cruise starting from Tianjin cruise port. We will be arriving to Beijing little more than 3 days before taking transfer to Tianjin cruise port (72.5 hours total). Do we qualify for the 144-hour TWOV visa free policy? If so, where should we go for applying the visa free permit? Thank you!
