About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Vietnam to Beijing to USA

I am a US citizen. I do not hold a Chinese Visa. I will be traveling from Vietnam with a Vietnamese visa (Point A) to Beijing (Point B) back the USA (Point C). Does this itinerary qualify as a 144-hour Visa Free trip?

Yes, as long as flight is not schedule to make any other stops in China than Beijing.
