U.S. Sex Offender applying for HK visa

Hi! Just want to ask if a U.S. citizen who has a criminal record of sex offence is eligible to apply for HK visa?

U.S. citizen can enjoy free entry to HK for a stay of not more than 90 days. There is no need to apply for HK visa if you go there for less than 90 days.

Thank you for the quick reply. What if he has to extend his stay more than 90 days in HK...I guess he needs to acquire HK Visa. Is it possible that the government will approve his application?
