About:China Private Visit Visa

Do dependent children need to appear in person?

My wife and I are applying for Zs and are bringing out two children to China. Do we need to bring them to the consulate in Chicago to apply for the visas? They are both listed on my invitation letter.

You can submit their applications of S type on their behalf if they are not required to appear at the consulate.
