Working visa for education

Hello, I am currently on vacation in Seoul for the next month. I have a job offer to teach English in China to start in September. I was wondering if I can apply for the visa at the Chinese Embassy located in Seoul without going back to the U.S. If that is possible, how do I go about and set up an appointment?

Thank you.

If you don't have ARC card (residence permit) in South Korea, I'm afraid you cannot make the application in there. You are advised to apply for it in your home country.
