About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hell question

My flight is for Atlanta to La then to guangzhou where i have to wait 4 hours before my last flight takes me to Vietnam do i still need a visa from china? My nationality is Mx but i live the usa

USA > Guangzhou > Vietnam is allowed under the 24 hour TWOV. Most nationalities are eligible for that.
