About:Yading Nature Reserve, Daocheng

Hike through Yading to Kasi Hell Valley

Hello,

In September I am planning to go trekking (bring tent) from YD past the lakes and then head down into the Kasi Hell Valley. Do you have any recommendations for the valley? Is there a place to stay in Kasi? Is there transport from Kasi village back to YD / Riwa?

You may follow this route: Riwa- Echu Mountain- Kasi Village- Kasi Niupeng Camp- Yakou- Changhai- Milk Sea (Niu Nai Hai)- Luorong Cattle Ranch- Chonggu Temple- Yading Village- Riwa. You can stay at Kasi Village. Well, you can take a bus back from Luorong Cattle Ranch. This hiking route is quite challenging. You need to make full preparation and find someone as company.
