About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

L extension. I need to apply for visa extension on Aug 2nd

but have a flight scheduled to Zhangjiajie on Aug 4th. Will the EEB give me a piece of paper so that I can fly or not?

Yes, they will give you a piece of paper, and you could use it to take a flight to Zhangjiajie, I guess.
