How to apply the residence in china for chinese american?

My mom is chinese born American, she would like to go back to live in China. How do I apply for the residence in China

Hi, if your mom has Chinese passport, you can apply for Q1 type for mainland China. If it can be done, you can apply for the residence permit at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB after entering China.
