About:China Tourist Visa

Group tourist visa?

We are a group of 4 traveling to china as part of an organised package tour. Do we need individual Ls or is there such as thing as a group one?

I have a group of 33 persons going to China. I contacted the consulate and was told that there are no longer group visa's and they must each have individual visa
