extension of students visa

I am a student here in china, with x1, my X1 will expire on the last day of july but i have gained admission to another school and need an extension, how do i go about it

If you want to change the school, you can renew your X1 type and residence permit at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. You can contact the local PSB for detailed information.
