About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24 hour visa. I am a Canadian, travelling from Japan to Tianjin China.

I have an onward ticket to Canada 18 hours after arrival, but it departs from Beijing airport. Can I still qualify for the twov as it is not the same city?

Yes switching between Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei airports is allowed on the TWOV
