S1 Visa passport requirments

Hi, I am currently on a S1 (living in Shenzhen with my wife who is on Z1) and need to apply for a new visa because my wife is getting a new Z1. Will i be able to get a S1 if I have less than 12 months on my passport? I currently have until July 2019? or will i need a S2?

Hi, I think it's possible for you to get the S1 in your case. If you are still worried, you can contact the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to inquire that beforehand.
