My flights:LAX to Tokyo Haneda, Japan arrival 9/11/18 2:25pmTokyo Haneda to Hong Kong arrival 9/16/18 2:20pmHong Kong (HKG) to Beijing (PEK) arrival 9/18/18 5:20pmBeijing (PEK) to LAX 9/21/18 depart Beijing 5:20pm, arrive LAX 3:00pmI have exactly 72 hours from 9/18/18 scheduled Beijing arrival to 9/21/18 scheduled Beijing departure.Also, does the 2 day stay in Hong Kong create any issues for  free transit?

Hong Kong > Beijing > USA is a valid routing for transit without visa. 72 hour twov was replaced with 144 hour twov so you could stay longer in Beijing if you wanted to.
